They are thinner than other sleeves I've used in the past. But I actually like that. I think that makes them more comfortable. I got them tight on purpose, so they still provide good assistance even though they're thin. Maybe you would want them more heavy duty if you needed maximum rebound for heavy bench. I just use them to minimize elbow joint pain during bodybuilding movements.
