I purchased these Gymreapers lifting straps because I had previously owned the same brand and size and was very happy with them. Unfortunately, the new pair is noticeably smaller than my original straps despite being labeled the same size. What’s even more frustrating is that the two straps in the new set aren’t even identical to each other—one is visibly larger than the other. This inconsistency affects how they feel during lifts and makes it difficult to get a balanced setup. I bought this brand again because I trusted the quality and expected the sizing to be consistent. Based on my experience, quality control has clearly declined. If you’re replacing an older pair, don’t assume the sizing will match what you previously purchased. Very disappointed with the lack of consistency, especially from a brand I trusted. I’ve attached photos comparing my original straps to the new pair. The size difference is obvious despite both being sold as the same product and size.

To expand on the differences you noticed, we recently made improvements to the Figure 8's, which included improvements to the materials and sizing differences. Since then we have updated the website to reflect these changes, and included a current sizing chart.

I did order a size a little bit big. So if your wrists are the measurements on the website please get those but I can make them work by just double looping them

I used these for a set of heavy rdls and they worked very well. Great product!

They arent padded so it goes rough on the skin the heavier the load the worse

Our Figure 8's are tough, durable, and built for many different lifts utilizing deadlift bars, barbells, axle bars, and farmer's carry bars. While lifting weights with any lifting strap can be uncomfortable at times, especially when lifting those heavy weights, we understand how having a padded section can help out with comfort.
