Shorts are true to size...the waist is just how I wish all other shorts fit as they are not too tight nor too loose...they are just right, and the waist band is very comfortable. The shorts have the right amount of room for exercises that I do (e.g., RDLs), without being too tight or too baggy. The fabric appears to be of high quality (I'll have to see after a few months of wear and washing). If I need more gym shorts in the future, I will definitely purchase these again.

They are an awesome fit short but thick 200lbs and 5’8”. But they are fraying like a MF. Coming apart at every across the butt Seam bought more as soon as I wore them but after 5 washes they are coming apart especially at the butt. Shame cause I love the fit. They just don’t last.

I like the shorts. Comfortable with a stylish look, but I was disappointed to have the seams fray and threads come undone so bad so fast.
